Giving blood made easy this winter holiday

POLOKWANE – The South African National Blood Service (SANBS) is calling on people to give blood as the July school holiday is upon us which means that many people will be on the road and accidents are bound to occur.
Public relations officer Dottie Pinn urges residents to donate blood at the various convenient venues where the the blood bank will be setting up donation points.
“There is always a need for blood, not only when it comes to accidents, but also for surgeries and operations. We need all blood types and urge people to support the different donation points and help save lives,” Pinn said.
 People can donate at:
• Mall of the North on Saturday 1 and Sunday 2 July from 09:00 to 14:00.
• Limpopo Mall on Monday 3 July, Monday 17 July and Monday 31 July from 09:00 to 17:00.
• Seshego Circle Mall on Wednesday 5 July, Tuesday 11 July and Wednesday 12 July from 10:00 to 17:00.
• Savannah Mall on Tuesday 11 July, Wednesday 12 July , Thursday 20 July, Friday 21 July and Saturday 22 July from 10:00 to 17:00.
• Bendor shopping centre on Friday 21 July from 12:00 to 17:00.
• Hoërskool Pietersburg on Wednesday 26 July from 08:00 to 14:00.
• PEPPS College on Friday 28 July from 08:30 to 14:00.
• Westenburg Secondary School on Friday 28 July from 09:00 to 14:00.
