Racy Polo turns heads

With comfy red seats and eyecatching mags it is no surprise this 2015 VW Polo 1.6i is a head turner.

POLOKWANE – Makgoka Makgoba is clear proof that you can be born with great taste as this human resource student at the Tshwane University of Technology’s (TUT) VW Polo talks for itself.

Q. When did you buy this car?

A. I bought it in 2015.

Q. Is this your first car?

A. Yes this is my first car and I think it is a good car to start with. It is cheap to maintain and is very spacious.

Q. Why do you love your Polo?

A. I love the interior, the red seats are on point.

The red leather interior oozes luxury and comfort.

Q. What makes it stand out?

A. My car is attractive but also comfortable and powerful with some special features. The mags in particular stand out as they are 3D BBS mags.

One of the features that catches the eye on the Polo are the 17-inch 3D BBS mags.

Q. Is there anything you want to change on the car?

A. It is perfect just the way it is now. I would like to add a sunroof later on however.

Q. Have you driven any long distance trips in this car?

A. Yes, I most often drive it to Pretoria but I have driven it to Rustenburg.

Q. Would you consider ever selling it?

A. Not really. I don’t plan to sell this beauty, but if I get a high offer I would consider it.

Q. Would you allow another person to drive it?

A. Someone that I trust like my sister, and some of my closest friends, not all of them however.

Q. What did you change on the car and why?

A. I changed the mags and fog lights and put in a custom sound system.

Q. What’s the highest speed you ever did with this car?

A. I once clocked it 190 km/h when I was test driving it.

Q. Do you have a nickname for your car?

A. I named it Rolls Royce because it has RR in its registration number.

Q. What do you wish to drive after this one?

A. My dream is to drive Mercedes-Benz C Class coupe AMG 63.

Q. How often do you drive your vehicle?

A. Almost every day.

Q. What do you think of other drivers on South Africa’s roads?

A. I think if we respect each other a little more a lot would improve. People must learn that road rage is not the proper reaction to problems, and that speed kills.
