Audi A7 Sportback promises an exciting drive
With every millimetre of the new Audi A7 Sportback designed to impress, Review can attest that this spacious five-door coupe did just that.
POLOKWANE – Joining Review for a test drive of the powerful and attractive A7 Sportback was Limpopo Tourism Agency Brand Manager, Jerry Mamabolo.
We were accompanied by Audi Polokwane Sales Executive, Johan Espach, who showed us the impressive features of the base model A7 TDi Quattro 3.0 V6 turbo we had the privilege of test driving.
“From the first look the design shape of the exterior is greatly appealling. It is definitely a head-turner and will garner looks of appreciation and awe wherever you drive it,” Mamabolo said.
“It is sophisticated and user-friendly. The ergonomical design of the cockpit with all the buttons within easy reach and line of sight ensures no distractions while driving. The seats are highly comfortable and I can see myself enjoying a long roadtrip while securely and comfortably nestled behind the wheel.”
New engine configurations, transmission, headlights, taillights, and infotainment system breathes a whole new life into the A7. The new model combines the emotional appeal and sportiness of a coupe with the comfort of a sedan and the functional benefits of an Avant.
“The A7 Sportback is spacious, not only within the cabin but the boot as well, I guess I could fit my mountain bike in the boot with ease.”
The new A7 Sportback is offered with a choice of five powerful and highly efficient engines and it sets the standard in infotainment. The MMI Navigation plus with MMI touch, standard on the 3.0 TDI BiTurbo, S7 and RS7, utilises the latest generation of the modular infotainment system. Customers may also opt to add the Bang & Olufsen advanced sound system.
“The A7 Sportback is exciting to drive with a host of impressive safety features, for both the driver and the passengers. I am a big Audi fan and it was a real treat to drive the A7 Sportback. It was an absolute pleasure,” Mamabolo said.
