Help Meals on Wheels, help those in need
Meals on Wheels Polokwane is appealing to residents to open their hearts and support the organisation that has been arduously assisting in bettering the lives of people in need.
POLOKWANE – Meals on Wheels is a non-profit organisation and was founded in South Africa in 1964 by Dr Dennis Baird.
Meals on Wheels delivers approximately 9 000 cooked meals per month which are made possible through the generous donations of the community.
The organisation is once again calling on people to make their donations and assist Meals on Wheels to provide for people in need as they have done unstintingly since July 1964 when the organisation was started. Grocery donations and monetary donations from the public will be greatly appreciated.
The donations can be delivered to the office of Meals on Wheels situated at 350 Suid Street and they can be contacted on 072 211 1147 or via e-mail at cagibson00@gmail.com.
