Thabazimbi Hospital hit by flood

The Department of Health will send a team from their infrastructure section to Thabazimbi Hospital tomorrow (Thursday) to assess damages as a result of flooding earlier today. The hospital was flooded as a result of heavy rains in large parts of the country.
The South African Weather Services said they could only supply statistics of today’s total rainfall by tomorrow. More rain is expected in the area during the next few days.
Thabiso Teffo, spokesperson for the Department of Health said he will only be able to supply more information tomorrow after the team has made their assessments.
