Series to watch out for

POLOKWANE – Not only is 2017 the year for blockbuster movie releases but it is also an exciting time for television and series fans.

Here are a couple of upcoming series that all the crazed series lovers would not want to miss:

Iron Fist

Danny Rand returns to New York City after being missing for years, trying to reconnect with his past and his family legacy. He fights against the criminal element corrupting his world around him with his incredible kung-fu mastery and ability to summon the awesome power of the fiery Iron Fist.

Release Date: 17 March 2017.

Taboo

Tom Hardy fans can’t wait to see him in action as adventurer, James Keziah Delaney.

James Keziah Delaney returns to 1814 London after 10 years in Africa to discover that he has been left a mysterious legacy by his father. Driven to wage war on those who have wronged him, Delaney finds himself in a face-off against the East India Company, whilst playing a dangerous game between two warring nations, Britain and America.

A Series of Unfortunate Events

Fans of the previous movie should keep their eyes peeled for the series as “How I met your mother” star Neil Patrick Harris takes the role of the villainous, Count Olaf.

After the Baudelaire parents die in a terrible fire, the Baudelaire orphans search for their families secrets and get them and their fortune away from the terrible grasp of the sinister Count Olaf as he moves with them between different guardians in disguise.

Another series on its way which is based on the popular and successful film trilogy. Follow former CIA agent, Bryan Mills as he deals with a personal tragedy that shakes his world he fights to overcome the incident and exact revenge.

Krypton

If you are a Superman fan, then you better not miss out on this series as it is all about the history of Clark Kent’s home planet, Krypton. Follow Superman’s grandfather as he fights for justice on his home planet.
