Learn the subtle art of chalk painting
Art lovers might recognise the name Annie Sloan as one of the world’s most respected experts in paint and colour.
POLOKWANE – She is also the author of 26 internationally-acclaimed books and has transformed the world of furniture painting.
In addition, the artist has a brand of decorative paint, Chalk Paint, and her fine-art background and contagious enthusiasm for decorative painting has motivated amateur painters and experienced professionals for the last 30 years.

Annie Sloan Polokwane is available at Velvet Apple Café and on Saturday, 25 February, they will have a workshop where they will teach different paint techniques, using Sloan’s paint.
There will also be a separate preview with techniques from Annie Slaon’s new book, Paints Everything.
To take part in the workshop, you will need to book in advance and pay a participation fee of R990 which includes breakfast and a light lunch. All the paint materials will be provided.
An additional R50 is required for entry to the extra preview and book launch.
