Local talent bags Radio Turf Award nomination

Ceelo has worked at the station for years and is happy to be recognised

POLOKWANE – A young man from the dusty village of Kgokong in Ga-Mamabolo outside Polokwane has worked hard and scored a nomination in the best presenter category of the Radio Turf Awards and is urging listeners to help him win.

ISAAC Ceeloo Mashila, a radio presenter at Radio Turf and hosts the Early Risers show, Monday through Friday.

The ceremony will take place on 14 December at the University of Limpopo in the Tiro Hall. “The award is very important, not just for me but for my show and listeners, as it represents all the hard work everyone has put in. I feel positive about everything, I fear no challenge, and the votes of my fans will give me strength and motivate me to chase my dreams and be the best I can be,” he says.

Ceelo says he started his presenting career at Radio Turf  a year after matriculating and has been with the station since then.
