Coming up! – Talent search on 3 December
Young people are advised to enter a talent search which will be held at Makgofe, Mmotong Community Hall on 3 December.
Registration is R20 per person.
“The main idea is to scout for hidden talent in our community. We believe that if we give youngsters the chance to showcase their talent, we will help shape their future. We don’t want them out on the streets with potential talent and not use it. We have two categories, namely singers and dancers, in the age group15 to18 years,” said organiser, Simon Modisha.
He said the winners will receive certificates, and will perform their winning act at the event, be it singing or dancing. “We are aiming to change and promote young people so they can be recognised. We want the youth to use their gifts to generate an income.
There aren’t many jobs in our country so they must use their talent to survive. Limpopo has a lot of talent which needs to be exposed and we aim to take them to the next level.
People should appreciate that God gave them a talent,” he concludes.
