Preacherboi on fast track to stardom

Pastor Lungi Preacherboi Ndala has won the Album of the Year award, the second most important award at the INGOMAs (Independend National Gospel Music Awards) that took place recently.

LIMPOPO – His album, My worship beyond was recorded in Nkowankowa, Tzaneen in 2014 and released in July 2015. Many of the songs on the album were written by Ndala based on his personal experiences.

“The album did very well and I’m super excited about the recognition this ward brings. For me, it was about going the extra mile and being obedient to God,” Ndala said.

In the space of a year, the album has won numerous awards which is a great achievement for the newcomer. He has met many of South Africa’s gospel music icons such as Sifiso Ncwane and Pastor Solly Mahlangu who have taken him under their wing, mentoring him through the ins-and-outs of the music industry.

Ndala says he has met a lot of influential people and achieved such success thanks to God’s grace. The energetic and effervescent Ndala plans to go on a country-wide tour which he will have to fit into his already busy schedule. Ndala is not only a successful musician and marketer, he also leads the Centurion branch of God Reigns International Church, a church his father founded in Tzaneen. He says no matter how busy he gets, he will always make time for his wife and two daughters.

The category won by Ndala was sponsored by Moshito Music Conference which means Ndala is automatically included in the line-up for the Moshito Gospel Extravaganza which will take place in Johannesburg in November.
