POLOKWANE – The Mrs Polokwane pageant finalists have been hard at work hosting charity events over the past few weeks while the three remaining finalists, Martha Chuene-Masopoga and Maureen Louw are set to host their events this coming weekend, with Leolin Adonis closing off this round of the competition on 17 October.
In order to advance to the next round, each finalist must organise and host an event for a good cause and they require the community’s support to pull it off. Residents are also hereby reminded of the newly added People’s Choice award which requires supporters to vote for their favourite finalist via SMS. The winner will receive a cash prize which will be donated to a charity of their choice.
The reigning Mrs Polokwane, Jackie Shrives, has one more charity event to host before she hands over the crown. Her Amazing Race event will take place over the weekend of 21-23 October. All the proceeds of this event will go to the Tough Living with Cancer (TLC) ward at the Pietersburg Provincial Hospital.
