The X-Trail has a bold, striking, muscular and exciting profile. Nissan’s innovative Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT) eliminates fixed-gear ratios and eliminates the need for gear-hunting. Instead, CVT reduces friction by up to 40%, improves acceleration at low speeds and keeps the engine at optimal revs for excellent acceleration and fuel economy. The six-speed manual transmission keeps you close to the action. Triplecone synchronisers make for brisk and precise shifting, while a smaller rpm drop with each upshift means a seamless response to your demands.
