TTrumpet an uber new cool app now in SA

ttrumpet is an uber cool South African developed multipurpose mobile lifestyle app which boasts an extensive range of features which let you make free calls and messages worldwide

POLOKWANE –  ttrumpet also tracks your friends and family for increased safety and it is a comprehensive platform for merchants, businesses and brands to market themselves using a range of tools including vouchers, online shopping, location or attraction searches, image recognition and augmented reality.

According to ttrumpet director, Charles Murray, the app was launched in 2014 and focused on demystifying the mobile for the consumer and providing free messaging and chat services.

“The first pillar of our safety and security feature was launched last year. Individuals can create and maintain their own community channels and while we have seen uptake here, we really believe that through our partnerships with the Community Policing Forums (CPF), neighbourhood watches and even security/armed response services we will truly be able to monitor the impact and success of this feature. Once success stories start coming through, we’ll see more people making use of and downloading the app – at times, as consumers, we first want to see the success rate of certain apps before we invest in them. This will lead to more CPFs and Resident Associations coming on board as they look for platforms to bring their community together,” says Murray.

He says ttrumpet is a South African company owned by the FastComm Group (a niche software and technology company backed by prominent businessmen including Patrice Motsepe).

“You can download ttrumpet from the Google Play Store or from Apple’s App Store to get going. It is free to download. Once installed, give ttrumpet your mobile number to register your device and a three-digit registration code will be sent to your phone. Depending on your device, the registration code may be registered automatically or you may need to add it manually. Should you not receive the registration code, you will be offered the opportunity to get your code through our voice validation system,” he says.
