Mvula passionate about her job

When you mention Asnath Mary Mvula at the practice of Dr. Scheepers in 41 Grobler Street at Redimed in Polokwane, her colleagues cannot help, but rave about her expertise and hard work

POLOKWANE – Having obtained a dental assistant diploma from the University of Pretoria, Mvula has made a name for herself at the offices of Dr. Scheepers.

This achievement adds to her wealth of experience she has gained throughout her career.

Coming from humble beginnings in Musina, Mvula is a shining example of someone who followed her dream and built up her career from scratch with her passion.

Mvula says her determination and hard work have helped her be where she is today.

“I started to work with Dr. Scheepers in Musina 18 years ago, when I was 31 years old. We relocated to Polokwane in 2001, we are no longer simply colleagues, or boss and employee, we are like a family. I love my working with people which is why I love my job,” she says.

The mother of three says she especially enjoys working with children.

“Children are usually afraid to go to the doctor, so the first thing I do is explain to them a doctor is there to help them and not to hurt them.

The most important thing is to be patient, and friendly with your patients, especially the children,” she says.
