What car do you drive?

I drive a white VW Citi Golf 1.4 2007.

When did you buy your car, what inspired you to do so and what do you love about it?

I bought it in 2014 and I was inspired by one of my friends from Tzaneen who drives the same model. It’s fuel consumption is light and maintenance is affordable. I call it Citilicious.

Why did you choose a white car?

Because it shows simplicity and neatness.

Is this your dream car?

No, it’s not my dream car but I haven’t decided on a dream car as yet.

Is this your first car?

No. This is my fifth car. Previously I have driven, in order, an Uno Fire, a RunX, a Ford Focus and a BMW 320i.

Which is your favourite feature in your car?

It has a good sound system fitted and obviously, as a deejay, I love to listen to music.

Would you allow anyone else to drive it.?

Yes, but only a few people I trust most and they must have a driver’s licence. I do this when I feel tired and am driving.

How often does your girlfriend drive your car?

Since my girlfriend doesn’t like this car, she drives the Hyundai Elantra I have.

How often do you get traffic fines?

I once got fined while I was parking my car in a loading zone.

How do you feel about driving your car at top speed?

I’m not a speedy person. I drive my car up to 120km/h and that’s my maximum speed.

What do you think of other drivers?

Just like in any other fields we have good and bad drivers, you just have to be patient when coming across bad drivers and keep your temper so they won’t bother you too much.
