Reggae artist spoils fans with release of DVD

Reggae artist, Tshidino Ndou, has just released the new DVD for his latest album, Vivho lia Ondisa

LIMPOPO – Reggae artist, Tshidino Ndou, has just released the new DVD for his latest album, Vivho lia Ondisa.

Ndou boarded the music boat in 2008 with hit songs such as Munwe na Munwe u na Zwine a Tenda Khazwo, Ri Khou Phusha Life, Ndi Muvenda, Khundu dza Shakira and Mubebi Wanu.

He says it took him more than 10 months to finish shooting the DVD.

This jack of all trades from Tshakhuma is the owner of Vhadino Entertainment, as well as Dzhatsha Films.

He is also the executive secretary of the newly-formed artists’ organisation called the Vhembe Music Association, which aims to protect the rights of Tshivenda-speaking musicians.

“I was impressed by the high demand for the DVD after posting a sample on social networks. My wife, Ndanduleni and my kids Ronewa, Tshifhiwa, Tshanduko and Khodani played a very big role in the making of the DVD. Their performances make me proud of them,” says Ndou.

Ndou says he aims to make a difference in people’s lives through music. “People must be the change they want to see in their communities,” he says.

He says as a way of giving back to the community, he will host the Tshakhuma Drama and Music Festival at Tshakhuma Faith Mission, which will take place on 2 January and start at 10:00.
