POLOKWANE – Limpopo gospel diva, Trica Selala’s fabulous stage performance in Botswana made the release of her new album Ose Lahle Tshepo hit the market with high sales in its first chart week.
Trica, from Nzhelele in Louis Trichardt, wowed audiences in Botswana with her performance at the recent Gospel Festival.
She said she was humbled by the reception her music received.
“It was my first time to perform outside the borders of South Africa. Songs like Ngi hamba no Jesu, Dumelang Metswalle Yaka and Diphala from the A re Lebogeng album ensured I carved my name in stone across the border. The audience loved my songs and performance and I plan to visit them again next year,” she said.
She said she received a warm welcome from Thobela FM upon her return, who were highly impressed by my album.
“I would be glad if I can win over the Southern African Development Community (SADC) region with my music,” she said.
