Pink Trees for Pauline

Springtime also rings in the Pink Trees for Pauline Project to create awareness about and unite communities and raise funds for those afflicted with cancer by turning towns pink

POLOKWANE – Springtime also rings in the Pink Trees for Pauline Project to create awareness about and unite communities and raise funds for those afflicted with cancer by turning towns pink.

In line with this national project trees are wrapped in pink during September and October. The aim of the project is to improve the lives of people living with cancer, their families and loved-ones.

The biggest reward of the charity behind Pink Trees for Pauline is knowing that funds raised in towns are allocated to the cancer communities of those specific towns.

CANSA will now roll out the project in towns where there are no existing Pink Trees for Pauline committees. In towns where the project is already established CANSA will assist.

CANSA offers all communities a message of hope and an opportunity to get involved in the fight against cancer, by providing access to information and education to help reduce the risk.

The mission and vision of CANSA underlines that of the Pink Trees for Pauline Project and their partnership will benefit the cancer communities of South Africa greatly.

Please note that in order for CANSA to benefit, the pink material used to wrap trees must be bought directly from any CANSA office.

For more information and to buy material contact Sharon Stander at (015) 297 1268 or sstander@cansa.org.za.
