NATIONAL – It’s official – Springbok jerseys are ‘business attire’ every Friday.
The Minister of Sport, Mr Fikile Mbalula, has appealed to Corporate South Africa to share the ‘gees’ and support their workforce in wearing Springbok jerseys on every Friday until the World Cup kickoff.
“It’s that time of year again where we have to wear our green and gold to support our national pride; the Springboks,” he said.
“Corporate South Africa, black green or yellow, Rainbow Nation, unite behind the Springboks and show your support by wearing the green the gold like me; the Springboks No 1 supporter.”
The Rugby World Cup kicks off in England on September 18.
