LIMPOPO – GUESTS at Matora House in Seshego Zone 4 were excited about the jazz session hosted by Get Down Productions. The evening was graced by stars like CharlessBass, Calandray, Mahuma Live Band and Tshegofatso Mbambala.

According to the executive officer of Mahuma Live Band, Matome Rapetsoathe, the motivation behind the jazz session was to enjoy the evening with family and friends by showcasing fresh talent in the province. They also want people of all age groups to listen and enjoy the music genre.

Sibusiso Nxumalo, group marketing and public relations representative of Get Down Productions, said the jazz session was organised as a fundraiser for the group to enable them to go on HIV and aids awareness campaigns. “We need to educate people about these killer diseases, we believe that we empower local artists by introducing them to the community. We plan to host a jazz session once every quarter,” says Nxumalo.
