LIMPOPO – SEVENTEEN young people have been selected to feature in the local movie, Tears of Love, which will start shooting on Friday.

The movie starts with a young couple getting married and ends with the wife dying, and it turns out she died from cancer, but never got a chance to tell her husband.

Eliyah “Kaisto” Papole, the managing director of Maxisky Media, which produces the movie, says the movie will be sold to Lokshin Bioskop on DSTV’s Mzansi Magic.

“We aim to motivate young people to follow their dreams. We want to introduce them to the world of film and to build their self-esteem and confidence. We want to give young people the opportunity to embrace their talent and give them a platform to shine,” says Papole.

He says the movie aims to educate people about cancer.

He adds that Maxisky Media partnered with 5th Plane Production on the project.

“We will hold auditions for another movie, Dikeledi on August 21, which will focus on promoting culture and language such as Tshivenda, Xitsonga and Sepedi,” he says.
