POLOKWANE – With limited facilities in the city, many residents never know how to keep busy.

But residents need not worry about how to keep the whole family busy as there are a lot of activities to look forward this weekend.

• Young soccer players from u/11 to u/23 are invited to the Polokwane United Football Academy trials at the Westenburg Stadium on Saturday. The trials will start at 08:00 .

• Athletes and soccer players will be treated to the first Limpopo seasonal marathon, soccer tournament and a campaign against xenophobic attacks and drug abuse in Seshego on Saturday.

The marathon will start from the Seshego circle at 07:00 and proceed to Kgabo Park in Seshego. The venue for the soccer tournament has not been confirmed yet.

• Rugby fans will be treated to a Super Rugby final match between Hurricanes and Highlanders at the Westpac Stadium in New Zealand on Saturday.

The Hurricanes have secured a final in the Super Rugby tournament for the first time ever. The game kicks-off at 09:35

• Rugby fans are also invited to the Limpopo Rugby Youth Day that will be held at the Noorderlikes rugby fields on Saturday. The celebration, which starts at 10:00, will be led by the MEC for sport, arts and culture, Nandi Ndalane.

• Golfers in the province will gather at the Polokwane Golf Club to battle it out in the Mike’s Chicken Monthly Medal Golf Challenge on Saturday.

• Entrepreneurs are invited to a business seminar that will be held at the Labowakgomo Civic Centre on Saturday. A band known as Musicians United will entertain the crowd during the seminar, which is expected to start at 08:30 until late.
