BB Polokwane proud of the Infiniti range

INFINITI Polokwane is the proud authorised dealer of the luxury premium brand, Infiniti, and has the full range of the Infiniti line-up available.

POLOKWANE – INFINITI Polokwane is the proud authorised dealer of the luxury premium brand, Infiniti, and has the full range of the Infiniti line-up available.
“Infiniti is an ultra-luxury brand that stands out from its rivals in the premium vehicle segment. It provides owners with a sense of luxury, refinement, and service like no other brand. Just as our Infiniti range resembles the highest standard of luxury and class in a premium brand vehicle, so do our sales, after-sales, servicing and parts sales service,” Karel Ferreira, dealer principal BB Auto Polokwane (Infiniti, Nissan and Renault), says.
JP Slement is the sales manager of Infiniti Polokwane. “It is with pride and a sense of achievement that we are able to have the high quality Infinti brand available in Polokwane. The quality of this brand speaks for itself and I would like to invite clients to come and experience high class quality at its best,” Slement says.
Marco Smith, Infiniti Polokwane sales executive, says he is proud to be associated with this premium brand.
“The Infiniti range of luxury vehicles sets a new standard in the premium brand, and I look forward with excitement to welcome established and new clients to come and see for themselves what the fuss about the Infiniti range of models is all about,” Smith says.
The story of Infiniti:
November 1985
The horizon task force:
• The story of Infiniti begins with the formation of a top-secret task force within Nissan. Its mission is to create a new performance luxury brand to compete with the big US and European luxury brands in the American market. This expansive vision embraces a new luxury automobile ethic that includes not just vehicles, but the entire purchase and ownership process.
July 1987
A name is chosen:
• The new division is given a name, “Infiniti”. The fresh spelling, with four “i’s”, and the badge with its two central lines leading off into an infinite point on the horizon, symbolised this new luxury performance brand’s desire to be always looking forward, to new horizons, to infinity.
November 1989
Infiniti officially launches:
• The Infiniti Division launches with 51 dealers in the US selling vehicles for the first time. Two models are on sale, the breakthrough Infiniti Q45® performance luxury sedan, and the driver-oriented M30 performance luxury coupe. With these two models, and the Infiniti Total Ownership Experience, Infiniti quickly gained recognition as an industry leader in customer satisfaction.
January 1999
Infiniti Owners Club launches:
• Infiniti launches the “Infiniti Owners Club”, an addition to the Total Ownership Experience®.
2001
Intelligent cruise control:
• Laser technology helps you automatically maintain your distance to the car ahead. Infiniti was among the first manufacturers to use a laser-based digital rangefinder to detect vehicles ahead and help maintain your selected following distance.
2001
Rearview monitor:
• Revealing a new perspective by showing what’s behind the vehicle while you reverse. Infiniti helps enhance drivers’ convenience while backing up by bringing the view behind the vehicle to the vehicle’s in-dash colour LCD screen.
2002
Infiniti voice recognition:
• An innovation, which knows your voice, responds to your needs. Paving the way in responding personally to you, this feature was one of the first to allow drivers to control audio, climate and even navigation settings with only your voice.
2004
Lane departure warning (LDW):
• Intelligent enough to help warn you if you drift out of your lane. The Infiniti FX was the first automobile equipped with this intelligent active technology. A discreet camera near the rearview mirror helps keep track of the distance between vehicles and the divider lines. If it detects you leaving your lane without signalling, it warns you to help ensure you stay in your travel lane.
2007
Around view® monitor:
• See a virtual 360 degree parking environment. The world’s first Around View® Monitor delivers advanced, yet intuitive, technology helping to make parking your vehicle easier.
2007
Lane departure prevention (LDP):
• Senses lane drift to help get your vehicle back on track. As the first company to equip its vehicles with a Lane Departure Prevention (LDP) system, Infiniti delivers technology that looks ahead. LDP lightly taps selected brakes when necessary to help you ease your car back into the proper lane. But you never give up control. It’s a safety feature, not an override.
2010
Blind spot intervention system (BSI):
• An industry first innovation that helps you detects and avoids vehicles in the blind spot area. The world’s first Blind Spot Intervention™ system uses sensors to help alert you to a vehicle detected in your blind spot and helps you avoid it.
2010
Hydraulic body motion control:
• Infiniti’s world-first Hydraulic Body Motion Control system helps bring sedan-like handling to SUV power and size. It monitors cornering force and distributes variable pressure to either the outer or inner suspension for a more even stance.
2011
Infiniti goes racing:
• For the 2011 Formula One season, Infiniti partners with the reigning Formula One Champions, Red Bull Racing, to investigate future technological collaborations.
2012
Back-up collision intervention:
• Back-Up Collision Intervention is a world’s-first technology that intelligently senses what the driver may miss, to help protect from a potential collision when backing up. When in reverse, the system detects crossing traffic as well as large stationary objects behind you.
2014
Direct adaptive steering:
• There are more than 30 ways to dial-in the driving dynamics of your Q50. Direct Adaptive Steering, a world’s first technology, gives you an unprecedented level of customisation by using electronics and next-generation digital systems to streamline the steering mechanism. Not only can it make driving more relaxing by filtering out unwanted vibration you feel in the steering wheel, it allows you to tailor the steering sharpness to get precisely the response you desire.
