Dealer network operates as independent entity

MAZDA Southern Africa (Pty) Ltd (MSA) has been operating independently from other dealerships since October last year.
As part of the business setup, a fully-fledged dealer network was identified and selected. The appointed dea-lers are responsible for sales, services, parts and warranty operations in South Africa, as well as Namibia, Botswana and Swaziland.
Since operations commenced, Mazda owners could still go to any dealership under the Ford Motor Company of Southern Africa (FMCSA) and service their Mazda vehicle. However, effectively from January 1 2015, only officially appointed Mazda dealers will service Mazda vehicles.
The Mazda dealer network consists of a mix of indepen-dents, large listed and smaller unlisted groups that have invested in facilities and staff to look after Mazda customers.
MSA will continue to review and expand the dealer footprint.
