Prom king and queen

The highly anticipated annual Prom Night took place at Bolivia Lodge on Saturday evening with Khangwelo Malotsha being crowned Prom Queen 2014 and Michael Cocks crowned as Prom King 2014.

POLOKWANE – The highly anticipated annual Prom Night took place at Bolivia Lodge on Saturday evening with Khangwelo Malotsha being crowned Prom Queen 2014 and Michael Cocks crowned as Prom King 2014.

Michael and Jessica Pretorius also took the title of Most Stylish Couple, and Dance Couple of the Year.

Prom Queen Khangwelo was also crowned Most Stylish Girl.

The prize for the Most Stylish Boy went to Khutsaka Nkune, while the award for the Most Original Couple went to Nthabiseng Semenya and Selaelo Sathekge.

Nthabiseng also won the title of Girl Dancer of the Year with Calvin Moleshe being named Boy Dancer of the Year. Calvin was also named Most Original Boy, while the title of the Most Original Girl went to Juan-Merié Venter.

The Designer of the Year award went to Nico Willoughby-Smith and the Photographer of the Year award went to Nikki van den Heever.

Alta Viljoen was the winner of the Make-up Artist of the Year whilst Clarette Venter received the prize for Hairstylist of the Year.

The organiser and presenter of this event, Sharon Stander, also extended her gratitude towards everyone involved in making the event a successful and memorable one.

These included Nadia du Plessis (judge), Jason Stander (judge), Mokgadi Mahlapamafsi (judge), Dehanne Uijs (scorer), Alex Vermeulen (scorer), Patsy Campbell, Ronél Booysen, Cathy Loots, Karen Human, and Corné Marais.
