Nashua Limpopo is their Santa Claus

POLOKWANE – Christmas came early for 35 learners from Pula Madibogo Primary School in Mankweng when they were treated to a shopping spree by Nashua Limpopo at Jet Mall of the North on Saturday.
Each learner received a clothing outfit including shoes and socks value at around R190 each.
Also present on the shopping spree was Miss Humanity South Africa 2014, Katryn Barwise, who helped learners choose the right clothes.
According to Nashua Limpopo marketing manager Auguste Ueckermann, the shopping spree was a national initiative held by Nashua in partnership with Jet. “Children had fun selecting their items of choice as we walked through the colourful sections of children’s clothes. They paraded around while trying on their shoes and modelled their choices, the smiles never leaving their beaming faces,” she said.
Ueckermann thanked Jet Mall of the North manager, Helen Mokgwebo, who added a handful of balloons to each child’s shopping bag for extra entertainment. She also thanked Barwise, who brought along a gift for each child.
Later the children were treated to a delicious lunch at Panarotti’s where they enjoyed scrumptious pizza and refreshing colddrinks made possible by Panarotti’s manager, Angelique Wolmarans.
Sharon Lekgetha, Pula Madibogo chairperson for orphans and vulnerable children said the school was very happy and thanked all the sponsors for a job well done. “We have a list of underprivileged children at school so we always consider them first when such opportunities come up so that they can get to have new experiences and enjoy themselves,” she said. She further thanked Nashua Limpopo and Jet for choosing their school.
