The Review Golf Challenge is heating up at the Polokwane Golf Club, with only two golf days remaining in the tournament.

More than 120 golfers teed off in the challenge on Wednesday, which was the highest number of golfers to compete in this individual stableford competition to date.

Johan Steynberg took first place with 41 points, followed by Peter Masehela on 39 points.

Baldwin Ramasobane came in third with 38 points on a count-in, followed by Hannes van den Heever and Gideon Delport in fourth and fifth places respectively.

Jan Gelderman won the nearest to the pin competition on the eighth hole and Lyn Marie Combrink took the prize for nearest to the pin on the 11th hole.

SP Mashakane is leading the overall standings in the challenge with 280 points, with Adam Milanzi and Riaan Piek breathing down his neck on 279 points.

The last two competitions of the Review Golf Challenge will take place on October 29 and November 26.
