POLOKWANE – Ocean Basket in Mall of the North hosted a Greek evening on Friday, December 6.
“People were asking when we will have another Greek evening after the success of our previous Greek evening in aid of Cansa,” said Simon Jooné, a manager at Ocean Basket.
“The evening was very successful and we had about 200 guests during the evening,” he said.
Guests had to book a table for the evening.
Louwrens Erasmus, also known as The Storyteller, provided entertainment for the evening and guest could order anything from the menu.
Each guest received a Greek plate that they could break in Greek tradition.
“This is so much fun. The food is great and the atmosphere is wonderful; little Greece in Polokwane,” said Anja du Plessis, one of the guests.
“I wish we could have a Greek evening every week, this is really nice,” said another guest, Berta Moolman.
