Rosettes for local riders

LOCAL equestrian riders from Shelanti Riding School in Mokopane joined in the fun of New Dawn Riding School's Christmas training show

LOCAL equestrian riders from Shelanti Riding School in Mokopane joined in the fun of New Dawn Riding School’s Christmas training show, which was held in Polokwane last weekend.

The show was attended by riders from riding schools in Limpopo. With items such as jump for joy, precision and speed and championships, the emphasis was on having fun while focussing to jump clear rounds over the set course within the course time. Corlia Steyn and Franzelle Fourie from Shelanti Riding School did their riding school proud by bringing home rosettes for first and third places.

Franzelle Fourie receives a first place in precision and speed (80cm) and a third place in competition (90cm). Here she is seen on the back of Ejazz.
Jumping the 1,25m four bar is a big accomplishment for Corlia Steyn as well as a first for Shelanti Riding School.
