See Zahara perform in Polokwane

POLOKWANE will play host to the internationally acclaimed Zahara during her 11 City National Tour to promote her forthcoming album, Phendula.

Zahara will be welcomed at Meropa Casino and Entertainment World’s Wildthingz Park on October 11 where she will prove that her new album will elevate her to to the next level in the entertainment business.

Organisers of the event say the tour will take her to most major cities and towns across the country, bringing her closer to her fans. The tour starts this Friday.

TK Nciza of TS Records, Zahara’s home stable says the purpose of the tour is to showcase Zahara in person and to make her more accessible to her fans without waiting for promoters.

Nciza says the main focus of the tour is for people to experience Zahara’s latest offering first hand.

Phendula, which means “respond” or “reply”, features the Grammy Award-winning Ladysmith Black Mambazo, poet Mzwakhe Mbuli and Godfather from Nigeria.

Nciza says fans will be able to listen to new material from the album before its actual release, which is scheduled for the end of September. “We are going to make sure the tour is one of a kind.”

Zahara says she cannot wait to come to Polokwane again. Tickets will be sold at Meropa’s cash desk at R150 per ticket and R350 per VIP ticket.
