POLOKWANE – It was the first time Wonderland played netball and the combined school team was made up of players from Gr 1 to Gr 3.
Aside from the players’ upbeat and eager spirits on the court, the spectators on the stands shouted words of encouragement and sang songs to cheer them on.
“The learners got this great opportunity and seized it with both hands to make sure they do their school and coach proud.
“We look forward to taking them to more matches and growing their talent even further,” one of the teachers, Norma Grant, said beaming with pride.
Although the games were friendly games and the scores did not really matter, they were still proud of their team that won one of the two games played against Mitchell House.
