POLOKWANE – The Capricorn District Volleyball Association (CAPVA) hosted their third round of league games at the Ngoako Ramatlhodi Sports Complex last Saturday.
Teams that participated included the University of Limpopo (UL), Masokolara, Valencia, Rockers, TSM, Blockers, Dolphins, MEPS, Phunyako, Evergreen and Blouberg, in both men’s and women’s divisions.
The matches were played under the leadership of the chairperson of the association, Phuti Mathekga together with his team.
“Before we could start, I thought we’d encounter some challenges but we started well, and the games were successful,” he said.
Players showed remarkable skill on court, battling it out for victory.
“I would like thank all the teams that participated and congratulations to those who made it, keep it up, I’m very proud of everyone.”
The winners of the league were rewarded with gold medals and a trophy while position two and three obtained silver and bronze medals to acknowledge their commitment and accomplishment.
