Aerobic instructor makes waves in the community

Dzire Mashigo aspires to be a leader for women in sport and aerobics and she is driven by passion for health and wellness.

POLOKWANE – The founder and CEO of the Jima Lenna Programme, Dzire Mashigo has over three decades of experience in the aerobic industry.

Dzire is a Jill of all Trades as she is also the executive member of the Limpopo Sports, Aerobics and Fitness Federation, a marketing and communications manager for sports events, the designer of aerobic twirl skirts and an executive member of the Kwena Moloto 3 Development Forum.

Dzire aspires to be a leader for women in sports and aerobics and she is driven by passion for health and wellness.

She is also committed to becoming a female instructor that will unite the youth and the elderly through sports in both rural areas and townships around Limpopo.

“I got the opportunity to partner with Southern African Development Community countries as well as interprovincial aerobic teams to host the annual Jima Aerobathon,” she told the Polokwane Review-Observer.

She also highlighted that most of Jima Lenna’s participants like her teaching style as she offers basic fitness exercise for women and men of all ages.

Dzire says she uses the latest music mixes to make her class engaging and also attends fitness workshops to create basic workouts for her target market.

“I also design aerobic skirts and I use light twist material.”

he says the development forum has goals to ensure that implementation and security measures are met and they hope to develop a recreational park to encourage an active lifestyle.

Dzire’s is not just shaping bodies but building a healthier, more connected society. Her journey selves as an inspiring beacon.
