POLOKWANE – In a vibrant celebration that captured the essence of martial arts, the Ring Kings Club marked its first anniversary on August 1.

Members gathered at their training venue to commemorate a year filled with hard work, dedication and achievements.

The festivities kicked off with club members showcasing their kickboxing prowess through a series of dynamic demonstrations, including punches, kicks, and strikes.

The energy and skill on display were a testament to the progress made over the past year.

Following the demonstrations, the atmosphere shifted to one of joy and camaraderie as members gathered to share a special anniversary cake.

Adorned with the club’s logo and a prominent ‘1’, the cake was a highlight of the celebration. Members enjoyed the treat, snapped photos, and relished the opportunity to celebrate their collective accomplishments.

Joseph Mabunga, a long-time kickboxer at the club, reflected on the sense of community that Ring Kings has fostered.

“Our coaches are always encouraging us to do our very best, even when we struggle with a technique. They uplift us, guide us, and show us love.”

New member Stefan du Toit echoed these sentiments, saying, “I started just a month ago, but I immediately felt a sense of belonging. Ring Kings is like a family, and I look forward to being with them for a very long time.”

With renewed determination and a shared sense of purpose, Ring Kings Club looks forward to many more years of growth and success.
