One of the club’s caddies, Sakia Makhafola also entered this year’s tournament and on day three ended in fourth place with 42 points.

POLOKWANE – The Limpopo Toyota Baobab Classic is a tournament hosted at the Polokwane Golf Club, that golfers traditionally look forward to each year. This three-day challenge was held from Thursday to Saturday with 120 players taking to the challenge.

This year, the event also offered entertainment for young and old in the form of artists such as Zoë, The Morning After, Jay du Plessis and Dirk van der Westhuizen.
Another new addition was Sakkie the field Marshall, who made sure that some of the players were caught on camera.

The format of this year was somewhat different in that Thursday was played as a four-ball, and Friday as a better-ball two-ball alliance. On the last day, players played in individual-player format.

The weekend’s activities concluded with a Rugby World Cup Fan Park where rugby fans enjoyed the final match between South Africa and New Zealand.
