Z’s dancers return from the USA with medals
Dancers from the Z’s Dance Studio participated in the American Dance Awards National championship in Rhode Island.
MOKOPANE- Dancers from Z’s Dance Studio are back from their US stint, and boasting quite a few medals.
Shenique Hulme and Liesca Ferreire both received high silver medals in the competitive teen hip hop duo/trio, while Loren Fortune and Jemima Ngundu walked away with gold medals in the competitive senior hip hop duo/trio category.
In the competitive age 13 open solo division, Liesca and Shenique both won high silver medals and Jemima also won a high silver with her performance in the competitive age 16 open solo category.
Loren won a high silver medal and a special all-star award for physicality and attack in performance in the competitive age 19 contemporary solo category with her superb performance.
She also won a gold medal with a special all-star award for floor work in her performance in the competitive age 19 open solo category.

“The dancers enjoyed their time at the American Dance Awards. For them it was a valuable experience that they had been looking forward to for a long time.
“I am proud of each and every one of them. They reaped the rewards through hard work,” said Zané de Wet, the owner of Z’s Dance Studio.
