Jack Senatla is a man of many trades

Senetla believes sports keeps people healthy and active, and provides the opportunity to enhance a person’s emotional and mental well-being.

POLOKWANE – Matome Jack Senetla, born and bred in Seshego Zone 2 says his love for cricket came from watching the 1992 Cricket World Cup.

The avid cricketer said he established the Seshego Cricket Club in 1999, later acting as a coach at the same club.

In 2008, he became Limpopo Impala Cricket’s general manager until 2014 from where he joined Capricorn High School as a sports administrator.

Senetla believes sports keeps people healthy and active, and provides the opportunity to enhance a person’s emotional and mental well-being.

“Sports teaches you about disappointment and how to deal with it. It is an important life lesson that will come in handy especially in the workplace,” he added.

Senetla saw a gap in the market and decided to apply his knowledge and skills in public and private security, and now owns a security company which offers services such as guarding and patrolling at special events, personal security, car watch, safeguarding assets in transit, body-guarding as well as safety and order on premises.

Apart from being a sports person, Senetla holds to his name a degree in business administration from the Wits Business school.
