Polokwane bikers show off at at regional competition

Secretary of the Capricorn Racing Club Magda Keartland said the performance and grit showed by the bikers, and wished them well in their next events.

POLOKWANE- cfrom Capricorn Racing Club obtained good podium positions at the MSA regional race, which was held at Legends Track, Rhino Park in Pretoria on May 13.

The race served as preparation for the NRMX Regional Motocross Championship, set for June 3 at the Capricorn Racing Club.

Bikers who performed well were Liam Grobler who came second in the 50cc category, while Byron Bradbury achieved second overall position in the 85cc support category with Greef van Wyk in third spot.

Magda Keartland, the secretary of the Capricorn Racing Club said the performance and grit showed by the bikers, and wished them well in their next events.

“They are still young and competed against top bikers from various bikers’ clubs in the country. We can only be proud.”

She added that preparations are at an advanced stage for the NRMX Regional Motocross Championship.

“We are currently finalising the logistics and everything is going according to the plan. We are anticipating a good show.”
