LIMPOPO – Black Leopards will leave no stone unturned in their Motsepe Foundation Championship league match which will be staged at the Malamulele Stadium on Saturday when they face Cape Town Spurs.
Leopards played a two-all draw against Uthongathi FC in the league last Sunday. Leopards expect to collect maximum points in their match if they want to see themselves on the safe side.
Leopards were under pressure to claim a win on Saturday and they were successful in doing so, however, they will now hope to win at home if they want to remain in the same position next season.
Leopards coach Rodwell Dhlakama says they have home ground advantage.
“We know the importance of the game. Dhlakama felt it was more of a positive to go into the game ready, not able to keep up match sharpness even if playing friendlies. A home game is always an advantage. The main thing is the delivery or application on the day, the records and what we have done in the past is not going to count in Saturday’s match. I believe the boys will be ready and they are not going to disappoint.”

Another Vhembe team, Tshakhuma Tsha Madzivhandila (TTM) who lost 1-0 on the weekend will host Pretoria Callies at Thohoyandou Stadium on Saturday.
According to TTM coach, Johnny Ferreira his team is ready to absorb the heat that comes with the match.
He said that all the players were injury-free. He is aware that it will not be an easy match as all the teams have a lot to play for in the encounter.
“We are ready for the occasion and know Callies’ strengths and weaknesses,” Ferreira said. Venda Football Academy (VFA) will travel to Cape Town All Stars on Friday.
