Coach Bayano Moloto joins Turf Academy

Turfloop Academy continue to show ambition to become one of the top clubs in the province.

POLOKWANE – Turfloop Academy continue to show ambition to become one of the top clubs in the province.

They recently added former Polokwane City Football Club coach Bayano Moloto to their technical team.

Moloto guided Polokwane City’s MultiChoice Diski Challenge team to their first semi-final berth in the 2019 Diski Challenge season.

The 40-year-old Seshego born mentor previously worked alongside top South African coaches in Macdonald Makhubedu, Clinton Larsen and Innocent Mayoyo.

He said the move to Turfloop Academy will enable him to grow as a coach. “I will attend a German coaching course through the academy. The course is something that I have wanted to do as a coach and the academy has given me that opportunity. I want to coach in Europe and Africa and for me to achieve that, I must equip myself with top coaching qualifications. I look forward to working with the players and help them to achieve their goals.”

He thanked City for giving him an opportunity to grow as a coach. “I enjoyed my stay at Polokwane City. I learned from all the coaches I have worked with and I felt it was time to leave and give other up-and-coming young coaches an opportunity to experience top football first hand.”

Moloto joined City in 2017 from Molemole Academy and has coached more than 30 matches in the Premier Soccer League.
