Local karatekas graded at Body Life Gym

POLOKWANE – The karatekas demonstrated basic karate movements, pre-arranged combinations of movements, and also displayed predetermined combinations of offensive and defensive movements with a partner.

Most of the karatekas graduated from white to purple belts, while others graded to orange belts.

Sensei Marcia van Niekerk said she is happy with the strides and the endeavours made by the karatekas.

“They did well at the event and we wish them the best in the upcoming grading scheduled for Johannesburg on November 27. We will have karatekas who want to grade to brown belts and we wish them good luck at the event.”
