Noordskool ‘bokkesport’
The weather played along well at Laerskool Pietersburg-Noord Primary when learners and parents took part in bokkesport last Friday.
POLOKWANE – The games were all about fun and not about winning. School principal Attie Visagie announced the games and explained how each game will be played, via a megaphone.
“Parents and learners, today is a very special day for your children. It’s all about enjoying yourselves as parents and children. We are not going to compete in the race because we’re here to support our children and also to make sure that it’s memorable for them. Thank you so much for taking time to be with them today, and we can tell that this really means a lot to them,” Attie said.
There were various activities available for the day and every grade got a chance to participate in each one of them.
The activities included a 100m run, sack-race and potato-race.
Everyone enjoyed snacks and refreshments from the tuck shop to build up their energy between events.
