Shooters shoot for Limpopo colours
Shooters from Moulder Luggeweer Akademie gave it their best shot at the Limpopo Schools Shooters Championship.
POLOKWANE – The championship was held at Ben Vorster High School in Tzaneen on August 22 and coach Gene Moulder said they are proud of their shooters who received Limpopo colours.
Ruan de Beer performed well in the sporter u/21 class, while Aiden Weijters, Cara van der Merwe, Will-Henry Oosthuyzen and Shaun-Paul van der Heever excelled in the sporter u/16 class.
Gert Smit nailed the u/14 class while top shooters at the academy, Hanre Willemse and Marzé Becker, outsmarted their peers in the precision class.
Moulder mentioned that the shooters are currently preparing for the national championships scheduled for October 1 and 2 at Hartbeespoort in Gauteng.
“They did well at the event and we are proud of them. They have set a good tone for the upcoming national event and we want them to do well.”
