Bikers beat the dust at Swannies enduro

Bikers who took part in the Swannies Racing enduro went full throttle on the track known to test bikers' capabilities and endurance to the fullest.

LIMPOPO – A strong and cold wind was welcomed by bikers as this helps dust caused by the first bikers to blow away quickly and thus increases visibility for the next participant.

Biking enthusiasts came from as far as Hoedspruit and Pretoria to show off their skills on Saturday.

Almost 60 bikers entered in the various categories and it was the four-hour team race for quads or two-wheelers that mostly interested the participants. The brave-hearted entered for the ironman category in which they had to endure the four-hour race alone in an effort to complete the most rounds before the time runs out.

A two-hour category was also created for youngsters and some as old as five years gave it their best shot, even if they only managed to complete one round.

The next race is planned for November and more details will be communicated at a later stage.
