POLOKWANE – The Summer Olympics is scheduled for Tokyo from July 23 to August 8.
Mokgopa, who is the reigning DStv Premiership Young Player of the Season, had a remarkable season with Baroka Football Club.
He played a pivotal role in ensuring that Baroka finish the league on the 10th position while Mosela was a cog in the midfield.
Baroka’s spokesperson Richard Mashabane said their selection is a clear indication of the province’s ability to produce world-class players.
“We only have a few players from the province in the national team setup. We are happy for Mosele and Makgopa, and we believe this will encourage and motivate others players in the development structures.
“We wish them good luck in the Olympics and we are saying they must continue working hard in achieving their dreams,” Mashabane added.
