TTM and Baroka ready to lock horns

Baroka FC are unbeaten in three league matches played so far.

LIMPOPO – Tshakhuma Tsha Madzivhandila (TTM) will lock horns with the unbeaten Baroka FC in the Limpopo derby at Thohoyandou Stadium on Sunday in the DStv Premier League match.

Baroka are unbeaten in three league matches played so far. In their previous games, the team played to a 1-all draw against Golden Arrows. TTM lost their only match when they were beaten 3-1 by Swallows FC.

TTM coach, Joel Masutha explained that his players are ready for their next match at the weekend and that they would use their homeground advantage. “We are going to face one of our toughest opponents. It is good competition and it will require us to double our efforts in preparation. Baroka is a quality team, and obviously they would want to take the win. We are ready for them, we just have to focus and make sure to retain a good log position,” he said.

Baroka coach, Thoka Matsimela said the mood in the team is great, and the players are looking forward to the match, as they prepared hard. “Everybody is fit and ready‚ so I am spoilt for choice with my selection. Our preparations have gone well. We had a really good long break and now the time has come for us to gauge ourselves against a very good team in a competitive game. I don’t think we could have done much more to prepare, I’m really happy with the sharpness of the players. It’s going to be an interesting match‚” Matsimela said.
