Zanis do their level best

[WATCH] Zanis Gymnastic Academy showcased their best at their annual prize-giving which was held recently.

POLOKWANE – Parents and families of the acrobats were invited to come and see the talent which developed throughout the year. The gymnasts took to the floor and gymnastic equipment to show off their talents and show that they have grown in the last year to the applause of the crowed.

The gymnasts were also awarded for their hard work throughout the year. A special video was made with the stunts the local gymnasts are able to do and this video will be shared to various clubs as well as be added to Gymnastics South Africa.

The overall winner of the 2019 Gym Games, Kamogelo Rangoato explained why being a gymnast is important and all the life skills that he has been taught because of the sport.

Girls artisctic:
• Level 1 best improvement – Nikole Markos and Anikah Janse van Vuuren.
• Best level 1 Limpopo – Leila Hoogenboezem.
• Best level 1 North Zone – Deane Fuchs and Elandri Steenkamp.
• Best level 2 North Zone – Anuska Deyzel.
• Best presentation level 4 – 6 at SA Gym Games – Sonja Pretorius.

Boys artistic:
• Best level 1 North Zone (6 years, Bennie Schempers Trophy) – Rohan Bernardi.
• Best level 1 North Zone (8-9 years, Pieter Schempers Trophy) – Rijandre de Bruin.
• Best level 2 North Zone (Rudolph Oosthuizen Trophy) – Damian Sibley and Ken de Lange.
• Best level 3 North Zone (Deon Fourie Trophy) – Dihan van Niekerk.
• Best improvement high school boy (Rudi van Niekerk award) – Kyle Hertz and Kamogelo Rangoato.
• Award for highest equipment points at SA Gym Games (Arno Horn Trophy) – Xander Deyzel.
• Best primary school boy at SA Gym Games (Marinus Appelgryn Trophy) – Xander Deyzel.
• Best high school boy at SA Gym Games – Ayden Venter.
