Rejoice is all for transforming the game of cricket in Limpopo
Limpopo Impala Cricket’s KFC Mini Cricket Provincial Coordinator, Rejoice Phosa says she would like to see more transformation in the sport as well as more female representation.
POLOKWANE – Phosa, who is Limpopo Impala Cricket’s KFC Mini Cricket Provincial Coordinator, was recently awarded for her efforts towards promoting the sport and says what she loves the most about her involvement in the game is seeing talent nurtured from a young age and being able to improve the lives of children who partake in the programme.
“I started learning about the sport and it became a passion that I find hard to describe. I love everything about the sport and being involved with KFC mini cricket means that I see the change that the sport brings in the lives of people,” she says.
Phosa says she took to YouTube to learn more about cricket but the more she watched, the more in love with the game she fell. Her love for sport comes from her involvement, having played Hockey provincially.
Phosa describes herself as a person with passion, honesty and she is always willing to help wherever she can.
