Departments face off on on the netball court

Employees from various government departments within the province are facing off this winter in various sporting codes to test their skills, keep away the winter chills and to stay active.

POLOKWANE – Players compete in friendly matches against players from the other departments in netball, volleyball as well as golf.

Every Wednesday these players come together for a training session, followed by a friendly game. “I like being able to play against my colleagues because it gives me the opportunity to bond with them in a different way. It also makes all equal on the netball court as we are all netball players and no one gets paid more than another.
