Exercise boot camp helps the needy

The Jama School of Art, Music and Dance, in partnership with BodyLife, Energy FM and Savannah Mall, hosted a fun boot camp at the roof parking of Savannah Mall on Saturday, 25 August.

POLOKWANE – There was no money charged for the boot camp but participants were required to bring a toiletry as entry fee which will be donated to people in need in and around the city.

The owner and founder of Jama School of Art, Music and Dance, Jack Mawasha, said: “This boot camp is a unique way of getting everyone fit while at the same time encouraging them to donate to the less fortunate, especially young girls who are in need of sanitary pads”.

During the boot camp, Jack and personal trainers from BodyLife, Vusi Manana and Alex Mtshweni, gave the class a thorough workout, making use of tyres to do a variety of exercises. “We urge everyone to come join us whenever we have boot camps to not only stay fit but to help someone in need as well.”
